Hello, I'm an anime otaku/"wannabe" BJD junkie. "Wannabe", as in I don't have any BJD type dolls yet. Not even Licca. No obitsus either. Yeah. It sucks being not-so-rich when it comes to this hobby. But soon I will have at least something, I hope. This is why I am so fond of obitsu, for they are much less expensive than most BJDs. But for some strange reason I really would like one of those "Unoa" dolls. Heh. I hear they are kinda difficult to get. Ah well. I've got a whole bunch of old barbies I could sell... but I'd probably end up with, at best, $10.89 or something like that. That isn't even enough to buy a 1/6th wig!
I really wanna customize but I'd probably suck. yeah. I would suck. Unless I used eye-decals. I can't paint decent eyes for my life. But eye-decals aren't cheating, because you pick them out yourself! And apply them yourself! Just like glass eyes! Hah! I've proved myself wrong! I can paint lips, which is great. But not those amazing "textured" lips, like most of you artists can. I know all this cuz I tried to practice my face-up skills on one of those "Dollar Store Barbies" and I did the lips okay, but the eyes were HORRID no matter what I did. Um, well maybe it was because I didn't have the right paints. No I did not. No golden or liquatex or any sealer. Just crappy dollar-store paint. But if I was ever to do a REAL faceup, I will buy the right kind of paint and also buy some sealer :D
Okay, I think it's time to finish this rant, even though I still got alot to say, I'll leave that for later. And as I said before, I have no Obitsus yet. sorry no pic of 'em cuz they aren't here. yet.
